Message From HOD

The department of Aeronautical Engineering is indeed a core and cornerstone department of the institute and was established in the year 2025 with B.E program in Aeronautical Engineering. Since its inception, it combines hands-on research, engaging faculty and top of the line facilities to provide students with the best education and continues to place great emphasis on problem solving and design based upon the traditions of the institute. Aerospace engineers develop new technologies for use in aviation, defence systems, and Aerospace exploration, often specializing in areas such as aerodynamics, aerospace propulsion, aerospace structures, guidance, navigation and control, instrumentation and communication, or production methods. The department offers a vibrant academic atmosphere which enables independent research and free exchange of ideas. The department has continuous interaction with R&D organizations of international repute in the field of aerospace engineering that lead to mutually beneficial research activities.

The students are nurtured with a variety of active learning activities including and not restricted to classroom teaching, presentations, video lectures, minor / honors courses, experiential learning and online courses delivered by faculty in the institute and across the globe.
