The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully organized a session on “Career opportunities after Electrical Engineering+ Resume & LinkedIn Building” on 29th July 2026. The session was conducted as part of the Training and Placement activities for undergraduate Electrical Engineering students under the Guidance of Prof. Surekha Mahadik..
The session was delivered by Mr. Sahil Shaikh & Mr. Prathmesh Deourukhar Founder of Yuvaprep, who is also a proud alumnus of the department. They had engaged 3rd & 4th year Electrical Engineering students and guided them on career readiness, opportunities, and industry expectations. The energy and curiosity of students truly made the session impactful.

Orientation Program

The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully organized an orientation program to enroll in the TATA STRIVE -Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS) Certification Course on 22 Sept 2025. The session was conducted as part of the Training and Placement activities for undergraduate Electrical Engineering students under the Guidance of Prof. Surekha Mahadik.. The session was delivered by Mr. Mahesh Gangadhar Myanpawar Project Coordinator Tata Strive, Tata community Initiatives Trust, TTC Industrial Area, Shirvane , Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The program was well-organized and highly impactful, motivating our students and recognizing their efforts in a meaningful way. Additionally, the course offered by TATA STRIVE has equipped our students with valuable skills and knowledge that will significantly enhance their employability and career

Technical Session on Solar PV Technology

On August 22, 2025, the Electrical Engineering Department and Electronics & Telecommunication Department, in collaboration with Waaree Energies Limited, conducted a technical session for third-year (TE) and final-year (BE) students as part of the Academia–Industry Program. The session began with an introduction to the esteemed speaker, Dr. Garima Aggarwal. Mr. Jatin provided an overview of Waaree Energies Limited, highlighting the company’s contributions to the renewable energy sector. The technical session focused on the manufacturing and processing of solar PV cells in the industry. The speakers discussed the development of solar technology and its significant contributions to renewable energy. Students gained valuable insights into the future prospects of solar energy and its potential impact on the environment.

Interactive Session on an Interpersonal skills

The Humanities and Sciences Department had organized an Interactive Session on an “Interpersonal skills” for 3rd year students of all the branches on 12th October, 2022 .Dr. S. D. Shah Principal of D. S. P. College Kamothe has been invited as an expert speaker by Assistant professor Mrs. Dipali Thorat PCE II faculty of Electrical Engineering Dept. Dr. Shah has guided our students about the importance of Interpersonal skills and the strategies to create a positive work environment through the improved awareness.

Expert Lecture on “ How to write a Technical Research Paper

An Expert Lecture was conducted successful by an Electrical Engineering Department in A. C. Patil Engineering College kharghar, under the PCE-II on 10th October 2022. It has scheduled for all the students from all the branches of 3rd year Engineering on the topic “ How to write a Technical Research Paper?” Dr Sachin Bhumbe, professor of P.N Doshi Women’ College, Ghatkopar (West) has guided all the students as an expert in the concerned topic ,Indeed the lecture was highly beneficial for the students’, he explained them in detail the steps,strategy,Do’s and Don’ts of writing a research paper.

Seminar on Interview Skills

A seminar on “ Interview Skills” was organized in our department for final year and third year students on 14th September 2017 to help them while appearing for interviews in on-campus recruitment drive of various companies. The speaker of the seminar was Prof. Geetali Sarkar; one of highly experienced teachers in the field of communication skills. Geetali madam explained the importance and types of interviews faced by students in on-campus recruitment drives. She tested the knowledge and thinking capabilities of students by asking some common interview questions and shared some interview experiences of her students

Workshop on Aptitude Skills

A workshop on “Aptitude Skills” was organized in our department for final year and third year students on July 18 and 20, 2017, to help them in clearing the Aptitude test while appearing for the on-campus recruitment drive of various companies. This workshop was conducted by a team of faculty members from TIME, Vashi. It was a quite informative and hands-on session where students were made aware of some tricks to solve various types of aptitude questions.
